  • 3 tablespoons lard
  • 1 pound chopped kale, fresh or frozen
  • Salt, to taste


    • In a large skillet, melt lard over medium-high heat.
    • Add kale, and cook and toss until wilted and bright green.
    • Salt before serving, if desired.
