Logan Log Dog, named because of his love of carrying huge logs, wanted to go for a hike in the woods but he didn’t want to go alone.
His best friend, Emma, was playing dress up as girls sometimes like to do.
But Logan decided to go anyway. “Gee I wish I had a friend,” Logan thought as he headed towards the woods. But wait, what was that up ahead? A red and white creature. “Maybe it’s friendly? I think I’ll go see.”
“You don’t smell like a dog,” Logan said. “But you’re about the same size as me.”
“You don’t have fur like a dog either. And you’re awfully quiet. I wish you’d tell me your name.
“But you seem friendly. Want to go for a walk? Don’t be scared. Just grab my tail and follow me, and I’ll protect you.”
“Why do you keep stopping?”
“What is it with that green stuff? May I try it?”
“I have an idea. Let’s play fetch. I’ll share my stick with you.”
“This is how you do it.”
“I just don’t understand why you keep eating so much green stuff. Maybe I should take you home.”
“Thanks for coming with me. Can I give you a goodbye kiss?”
“What a great friend even if she doesn’t know how to woof.”
