Pioneer Switchel Recipe

Make this simple but refreshing switchel to keep hydrated on a warm day!

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts hot water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cups molasses
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients and stir to dissolve sugar and molasses. Allow to cool. Serve cold.
