In late fall, farmers' markets are full of a variety of produce. Squash and potatoes are particularly in abundance.

While some communities enjoy farmers’ markets all year round, for others, the season is coming to a close – if it hasn’t already! The last day for many markets around the country is November 23, which is great news for folks looking to source their Thanksgiving feasts locally, but also a little sad since it’ll be months before we have that much farm-fresh produce at our fingertips again.
