Prepare a Simple French Farm Dinner
Baked Pears
Ripe pears
Butter
Brown sugar
1 cup boiling water
Cut pears in half; remove core. Place pear halves in a baking dish, cut side up. Fill pear cavities with butter and brown sugar. Add boiling water to bottom of dish, and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve with whipped cream.
