The newest addition to the growing line of rugged tactical/survival
knives from Bear OPS is called the Bold Action, and it lives up to its name in
every way.
The 3-inch blade is made of premium-quality CPM-S30V stainless steel and is .115″ thick to handle the toughest assignments. It’s heat-treated to a Rockwell hardness of Rc58-60 for
durability and edge-holding, and comes with either a non-reflective black Ti coating or bead-blasted. For quick deployment, the blade opens with a firm push on a recessed button.
There is also a choice of handle materials – G-10 with grip ridges for secure handling or good looking Cocobola. Closed, the Bold Action is 4-1/8″ long and it weighs 6 ounces.
“OPS stands for Operational Precision for Superior tactical/survival knives,” explained Ken Griffey, president. “And we back them all with our Lifetime Limited Warranty.”
The Model AC-110-B4-T Bold Action lockback has an MSRP of $212 and like all knives from Bear OPS it is made in the U.S.A., including the steel and all of the components, as well as all phases of the manufacturing process in their modern 41,000-square-foot plant in Jacksonville, Alabama.
