Common camping equipment that’s most vital to having a quality camping trip and enjoying your time in the outdoors is, first and foremost, a good shelter. A good tent with strong poles that can withstand strong winds will be the difference in the level of enjoyment you get from camping. Along with a good tent, a  quality sleeping bag that suits your camping climate is also crucial.

Other important equipment to bring with you on a camping trip include good lighting, a hatchet or other tool to gather kindling, a water canteen and water source.
