Homemade Bean Dip Hot or Cold

Ingredients

  • 1 pound cooked beans (kidney, black, and pinto)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese or Mexican mix

Directions

  • Purée beans in a food processor. Add cream cheese, salsa, and shredded cheese. Pulse until well-combined. Serve chilled with chips.
  • For warm bean dip, mix beans (puréed or whole), cream cheese, and salsa in a bowl. Transfer to a heavy oven-safe skillet and top with shredded cheese. Bake at 425 F for 15 to 20 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
