Get your classroom into gardening with the Bonnie Plants 3rd Grade Cabbage Program. Each year, Bonnie Plants sends cabbage plants to third-grade classrooms across the country, with the intention of helping students learn gardening basics, as well as educating them on the importance of food systems, and fostering their interest in agriculture. Teachers can register their classroom to receive ‘O.S. Cross’ or “oversized” cabbage plants, which students then cultivate at home or in a school garden. Home-school umbrella organizations are also eligible to participate.
