June Brown, Chesapeake, Virginia, writes, “I am a 78-year-old former GRIT carrier. I am looking for a recipe to make a ‘Mock’ Apple Pie using Ritz Crackers or soda crackers. This was an extremely popular request, as the file folder is nearly five inches thick. Ella Spann, Crockett, Texas, writes that her mother used to call it Apple Pie, My Eye!
