Oat ‘n’ Toffee Grahams Cookie Bars Recipe

Whole graham crackers make a delicious crust for these cookie bars.

Charlotte Thomann, Riverside, Iowa, sends a great-tasting cookie bars recipe using whole graham crackers.

Graham Cracker Crust Recipes

12 whole graham crackers
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons flour
2/3 cup butter, melted
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 package (12 ounces) milk chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350°F. Line 15-by-10-inch baking pan with nonstick foil. Arrange crackers in single layer in pan. 

In large bowl, combine oats, sugars and flour. Stir in melted butter, egg and vanilla until well-combined. Spoon mixture over graham crackers and spread evenly to edges of pan to cover crackers.
