As summer leans toward autumn, the Caribbean island of Curacao heats up with performances by some of the best jazz, R&B and contemporary artists at the island’s annual North Sea Jazz Festival.

Performers included Bettye Lavette, Cassandra Wilson, Charles Brady, Emeli Sande, Enrique Iglesias, Gregory Porter, John Legend, Lionel Richie, Randy Newman, The Isley Brothers, The Pointer Sisters, The Stanley Clarke Band, Usher, Wyclef Jean, Juanes and Oscar D’Leon.
