POST FALLS, IDAHO – Buck Knives brings a new blend of slimline elegance and performance features to gentlemen’s knives with their new series of three lightweight Lux framelock folders. All three have a 2-1/2-inch drop-point blade, with a blade flipper for smooth one-hand opening.
The solid frame lock ensures safety in use and results in a sleek, slim handle, with less weight than linerlocks. For carrying options, it has a removable deep-pocket clip. As the newest additions to Buck’s “good-better-best” pricing, the Lux series offers choices of steels and handles.
Top-of-the-line 016 Lux Pro has a titanium-coated S30V stainless steel blade, and the attractive handle is textured stainless steel, coated with carbon fiber and titanium. With its thinner body it has a different look and feel, and weighs only 3.3 oz. MSRP is $125.
With all the same basic features, the 015 Lux Avid has a titanium-coated blade made of 13C26 Sandvik steel, and a titanium-coated stainless steel handle. MSRP, $75. Again providing all the key benefits, the 014 Lux Select has a blade made of Buck’s time-tested 420HC steel, and the handle, with its own distinctive design, is titanium-coated stainless steel. MSRP, $57.50. Both of these weigh just 2.9 oz.
Of course, in keeping with Buck’s American Commitment, all three of the Lux models are made in the USA, and they are backed by Buck’s Forever Warranty.
