For both a Honey Dressing and a marinade recipe, this concoction uses red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, lemon juice and honey.
Yields 16 (2 tablespoons) servings
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons honey
2 cloves garlic
2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 cup water
In container with a tight fitting lid, combine vinegar, pepper, salt, honey, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and lemon juice. Shake well.
Add water and shake again.
Flavor improves if made a day ahead. Dressing can be stored for several weeks.
