Old-Style Barbecue Sauce Recipe
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup apple vinegar
1/4 cup whole black peppercorns
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce, optional
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce, optional
Place all ingredients in saucepan; bring to rapid boil. Remove from heat and cool.
Sauce will store in refrigerator for 6 months or more.
