The Honey Granola recipe is a healthy choice and perfect for a snack.
Honey Granola
4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
2 cups coarsely chopped nuts
1 cup golden raisins
3?4 cup honey
1?2 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
Salt
Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease cookie sheet; set aside.
In large mixing bowl, combine oats, nuts and raisins; mix well and set aside.
In saucepan, combine honey, butter, cinnamon, vanilla and salt; bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute. Pour over oat mixture and toss until well-blended.
Spread on prepared cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until lightly browned, stirring every 5 minutes. Cool, then crumble. Store in airtight container up to 2 weeks. Yields 8 cups.
