Practice water conservation with a DIY rain barrel.

KUTZTOWN, Pennsylvania – Keeping garden crops and other plants irrigated during summer without running up the water bill can be a challenge. Visit the Rodale Institute May 14 to get hands-on training and learn how to build a rain barrel, so you can utilize natural rainwater for your yard and garden needs. This workshop will discuss the benefits of irrigating with rainwater for self-sufficiency and water conservation, and participants will spend time constructing their own rain barrel, which they will take home.

Visit Rodale Institute for more details and to register.
