New projects to help improve water and wastewater services are on tap for 33 states. The U.S. Department of Agriculture will fund 54 water and wastewater projects through the agency’s Rural Development program.
USDA Rural Development is offering more than $150.8 million to improve water quality and the environment for rural Americans. In addition, nearly $22.5 million is being invested for technical assistance training through the Technical Assistance and Solid Waste Management programs.
