Collins, Colorado — The Rocky Mountain Sustainable Living
Association announces the 4th annual Tour de Coop from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday,
May 14, in Fort Collins.
This is an opportunity for area residents to visit local backyard chicken coops
through participating in a 6-mile leisurely bike ride.
Tour de Coop
participants will visit a variety of urban backyard chicken coops and will
learn about chickens from beak to butt from experienced backyard chicken
owners. Tour de Coop highlights important elements of sustainable communities
and our local food system.
The ride is
limited to 40 participants, and the cost is $15 per rider. Advanced
