GIBSON CITY, ILLINOIS – Rhino is excited to introduce their new line of ZTR mowers at the 2011 National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky. The Typhoon, Tornado, and Twister models are built specifically to meet the needs of commercial businesses and homeowners alike.

“It’s a natural progression for Rhino to expand to a more commercial and residential market with our reliable history of providing durable and well-known farm equipment including our flex-wing and finishing mowers,” said Greg Pollock, Sales and Marketing Director for Rhino’s Ag Division.

Rhino’s Typhoon is ideal for difficult terrains that commercial mowing can sometimes present, including highway rights of way, parks, and apartment complexes. Typhoon features infinitely variable speeds up to 14 MPH, cutting heights from 1 ½ to 5″, and mowing widths of 61″ and 73″. It also offers a quick and easy change from a pivoting to a fixed front axle when terrain varies. Powered by a Kohler® engine, Typhoon has a 15 ½ gallon fuel capacity to keep you mowing longer.

The Tornado series is tailored to challenge tough ramp and curb inclines. To get the job done quickly, it features speeds up to 10 MPH, cutting heights from 1 1/2 to 5″, and mowing widths of 55″ and 61″. With an 8 gallon fuel capacity and 26 HP Kawasaki® engine, Tornado can tackle any size project and mowing situation including very tall or wet grass.

Twister is perfect for any homeowner. Its smaller size means it can easily be stored in the family garage, but it’s just as durable as the larger models. Twister features variable speeds up to 8 MPH, 42″ and 52″ mowing widths, and up to 24 HP Kohler and Kawasaki engines. It offers adjustable controls and a padded, high-back, adjustable seat.
