English Beans on Toast

    Ingredients

  • 4 slices bread
  • Butter, optional
  • 1 can (16 ounces) baked beans

Directions

  • Toast bread. Top with butter, if desired.
  • Heat beans in small saucepan over medium heat until hot. Remove from heat.
  • Spoon beans over toast. NOTE: Beans on Toast is considered a part of a “full English breakfast,” and can often be found on buffet spreads at high-end hotels in the United Kingdom.
