English Beans on Toast

An English breakfast classic, beans on toast are simple and delicious.

Ingredients:

• 4 slices bread
• Butter, optional
• 1 can (16 ounces) baked beans

Instructions:

1. Toast bread. Top with butter, if desired.

2. Heat beans in small saucepan over medium heat until hot. Remove from heat.

3. Spoon beans over toast.

NOTE: Beans on Toast is considered a part of a “full English breakfast,” and can often be found on buffet spreads at high-end hotels in the United Kingdom.
