Serve this Baked Asparagus Recipe with almost any spring dish. Bread crumbs and cheese add flavor and texture to the colorful vegetable.
Baked Asparagus Recipe
1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated cheese
1 tablespoon melted butter
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon paprika
2 1/2 cups cooked asparagus, drained well
Spray broiler pan with nonstick vegetable cooking spray; set aside.
In small bowl, combine bread crumbs, cheese and butter, mixing well. Add salt, pepper and paprika; mix well. Roll asparagus in bread crumb mixture and arrange on broiler pan.
Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat source until heated through, turning frequently to brown evenly.
Serve on hot platter, garnish with parsley and pimientos. Yields 6 servings.
