Wordless Wednesday: The Backside of the Barn

April FreemanI came across this photo last week. It's unusual because it's of the back of the barn, looking up the hill. I don't usually take pictures from the back of the barn, or looking uphill. I think the picture is lovely. Perhaps I should take pictures like this more often.

April, I love old barns from any angle. They just have such great character. I actually participated in building my uncles barn 60 some years ago. I was really too young to help much but I got to basically watch and be the gofer. You know go fer this and go fer that. Every barn has just a little different look or feature which makes them unique. Inside of barns have many interesting designs as well. The picture of the back side of the barn that you took gives another interesting view of a building that could certainly tell some interesting stories about animal life and death, don't you think? ***** Have a great wordless Wednesday.
