If you’re interested in gaining a deeper knowledge of seed saving, check out this week-long course offered through the Rocky Mountain Seed Alliance. You’ll learn from industry experts and walk away with the know-how and inspiration to start your own seed-saving project.

CRAFTSBURY COMMON, Vermont — Strengthen your seed-saving knowledge with a six-day Seed School through Rocky Mountain Seed Alliance. The intermediate-level, hands-on course will be held at Sterling College August 5 through 10. Students can expect to become proficient in a variety of topics, including selection and evaluation, pollination, harvesting, breeding, germination, and more. There will also be paired events with relevant book authors, plant breeders, entrepreneurs in the regional seed community, and more. The course will conclude with a seed swap on Friday.
