GRIT Guest Blogger Brandy Ernzen hails from a small Kansas town, and is working to re-learn those wonderful country skills from her childhood. She’s also GRIT’s public relations manager.

Kind hearts are gardens,
Kind thoughts are roots,
Kind words are blossoms,
Kind deeds are fruits.

– Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, adapted into a children’s nursery rhyme

What can be better than when the kind deed is a garden?

When will this thing finally turn red?

Brandy, What a neat garden-I bet these children will look at the world a little differently now -even as young as they are. They will take notice of things of things growing around them as they go outside to play and enjoy the outdoors more. vickie
