| May/June 2016

KUTZTOWN, Pennsylvania – Keeping garden crops and other plants irrigated during summer without running up the water bill can be a challenge. Visit the Rodale Institute May 14 to get hands-on training and learn how to build a rain barrel, so you can utilize natural rainwater for your yard and garden needs. This workshop will discuss the benefits of irrigating with rainwater for self-sufficiency and water conservation, and participants will spend time constructing their own rain barrel, which they will take home.

Visit Rodale Institute for more details and to register.

I used the plans at WWW.EASYWOODWORK.ORG to build my own household projects – I highly recommend you visit that website and check their plans out too. They are detailed and super easy to read and understand unlike several others I found online. The amount of plans there is mind-boggling… there’s like 16,000 plans or something like that for tons of different projects. Definitely enough to keep me busy with projects for many more years to come haha Go to WWW.EASYWOODWORK.ORG if you want some additional plans :)
