Corn is king in much of North America, and judging by the beauty of this well kept barn, on this farm the king pays pretty well.

Corn Products Are Everywhere in American Life 

This Cheesy Corn Bake recipe is perfect with brisket, burnt ends, or any barbecue, for that matter.

1 package (18 ounces) frozen corn, boiled and drained
1 can (6 ounces) evaporated milk
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
Pepper, to taste
3/4 cup shredded cheese 

Topping:

1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 tablespoon melted butter
1/3 cup shredded cheese 

Combine corn, evaporated milk, egg, onion, salt, pepper and cheese in 10-by-6-inch baking dish. Combine topping ingredients; sprinkle over mixture in dish. Bake 25 minutes at 350°F.
