Charlie Clarke swears by this garden spray:

1 cup dish soap
1 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup baking soda
1/2 cup skim milk

Mix these ingredients in a jar. For smaller plots or container gardens add 1 tablespoon to a spray bottle filled with water and apply. For larger gardens use a garden sprayer.

Hi all. This spray is to keep bugs and fungus at bay in the garden. The soap can cause your plants to wilt if you do not dilute it enough. Be sure to either dilute it with more water or reduce the amount of soap you use, and do not apply in full sun.

Nuts to this spray . I followed instructions as to dilution and application and all I got was burnt leaves and dying plants...Beware of these Plant Gurus'. Some will say anything to get their name in a magazine....
