Vinegar Pie With Vanilla
1 1⁄2 cups sugar
1⁄4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 1⁄2 tablespoons cider vinegar or white vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 9-inch frozen pie shell, defrosted
Heat oven to 350°F.
In large mixing bowl, combine eggs, sugar, butter, vinegar and vanilla; mix well. Pour into pie shell.
Bake until firm, about 50 minutes. Cool on rack. Serve garnished with chopped nuts or whipped cream, if desired.
