- 3 cups oats
- 1 cup flaked or shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup cocoa or carob
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- In large bowl, combine oats, coconut and cocoa.
- In saucepan, combine margarine, sugar, milk and vanilla; bring to rolling boil. Pour over oats mixture; stir thoroughly.
- Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet or smooth into 9-by-12-inch pan. Cookies are ready to eat when cool.
