- Marilyn Steele, of Flint, Michigan, hopes readers have two recipes she remembers from a Campbell’s Soup Cookbook in the 1960s or ’70s: a meatloaf that contains oatmeal and chicken with rice soup; and Italian-style sliced eggplant.
- Beth Rettke, of Park Rapids, Minnesota, is looking for a recipe for pumpkin pie that includes miniature marshmallows. “My grandmother used to make it for Thanksgiving. We’ve gone through all her recipes but can’t find it,” Beth writes.
- Travis Massey, of Idabel, Oklahoma, hopes someone has a recipe for vinegar pie.
- Gerald Davis, of Kennerdell, Pennsylvania, is trying to locate a recipe for Jewish hard rolls. “We always were able to buy them in New York,” he writes, “but since we’ve moved to Pennsylvania, we have not been able to purchase ones like these. They were hard on the outside, but soft on the inside. Any that we find as ‘hard rolls’ are nothing like these rolls.”
