Williamsburg, Virginia — Head to the town where it all began. Celebrate the 408th anniversary of the 1607 founding of America’s first permanent English colony, Jamestown, on May 9. During Jamestown Day, you’ll see displays of traditional food growing and livestock raising methods, as well as re-enactments of food preparation and homesteading skills demonstrations.
