| July/August 2012

Eating Planet, a report from the Barilla Center for Food and Nutrition, highlights current challenges facing global food and agricultural systems.

Each of the report’s four sections ends with recommendations, proposals and actions for solving the global food crisis.

The Worldwatch Institute’s Nourishing the Planet project, an evaluation of environmentally sustainable solutions to alleviate hunger and poverty, collaborated with the Barilla Center for Food and Nutrition to produce the report. The center’s goal is to  analyze major global issues connected with food and nutrition. Worldwatch is a research organization that works on energy, resources and environmental issues.
