I live on 20 acres in Osage County, Kansas. I love everything about living in the country, except the snakes and mice that grace our pastures, fields, barns and ponds. Luckily, my Labs don’t mind them, so I just take them with me whenever I need to venture out into the pastures or barns. Scrapbooking is a favorite hobby, as well as fishing, muddin’, 4-wheeling, camping and canoeing. I started with Stauffer Communications in 1994, which was later sold to Ogden Publications. My current position is senior associate editor for GRIT, CAPPER’s and Capper’s Farmer.
