By Milk Maid
I was born in CT but have been in Texas for 29 years with my husband and our children. Animals have always been a special thing for me and my first word was, “horse” according to my mom. My husband and I have 40 acres and we breed Miniature Alpine dairy goats for milk, butter, cheese, yogurt and ice cream. We also have Irish Dexter cattle for beef and milk. The garden does supply us with most all the veggies we need and 4 peach trees supplies us well with jam. In the Mini dairy goat world I’m known as Milk Maid Ranch so my web site is: www.milkmaidranch.com For 2 years I’ve been on the Board of Directors with TMGR (The Miniature Goat Registry) & am the Moderator for MiniAlpine_Dairy_Goats which is a group on Yahoo for breeders of Mini-Alpine’s.
