I was born and raised near Rapid City, South Dakota and spent my youth traipsing through the Black Hills. I graduated from South Dakota State University in 1997 with a Bachelor’s in Agricultural Education. I spent the next 14 years teaching agricultural education and middle school science at Woonsocket High School in Woonsocket, South Dakota. I’m happily married to Rick Niles and we have 3 beautiful daughters, Banion (8), Bethany (5) and Emma (4).
