By Laura Lowe
Laura Lowe is looking forward to sharing nostalgic stories about country living. She believes the country is a great place to raise a family or retire, and enjoys writing about the time she spent growing up on her family’s farm.
Laura counts gardening and cooking among her country skills, and grows flowers and herbs in her garden.
Her philosophy on country life reflects her deep love for life outside city limits: “In the country one is close to the soil. I believe that being “grounded” is vital to living a mentally, emotionally, and physically healthy life. I no longer live in the country, but visit as often as I can. I am never more at peace than when walking in the woods.”
