I live in two worlds. One is striving for a semi-sustainable lifestyle in a suburban town in Colorado, tucked up against the front range of the snow-capped Rocky Mountains. I’m also building an off-grid sustainable home, studio and lifestyle with my partner in a tiny town of 25 people in the remote rolling hills of Nebraska. Not to mention a bunch of fun adventures in between, finding abundance everywhere I go.
Life for me has always revolved around the outdoors and animals. I spent years riding and training horses, managing a feed store and educating the public about large and small animal nutrition, care and backyard chicken keeping. Recently I’ve switched gears and become a Master Gardener volunteer, and embarked on the journey of building a new home and life. But most of all I’m an artist, and mother to a couple of phenomenal young women.
