One Foot in the City

Owning a piece of the same homestead that my ancestors settled makes me a steward of the earth.  Like my parents and grandparents, I’ve learned to do for myself and that simpler is not only better, but more pleasurable; that real food comes from gardens, and that people who love the earth are good to be around.  I am fortunate to have “one foot in the city” and “one foot on the farm.”  My efforts to be a steward can also be followed at www.joanpritchard.com where my companion blog is called “One Foot on the Farm.”
