Jenny Underwood Biography

Jenny Underwood is a homeschooling, homesteading mom of four kids. She lives with her husband and children in the foothills of the Missouri Ozarks on their fifth-generation homestead. She grows a huge garden each year and puts up hundreds of pounds of produce for their winter needs. Jenny also enjoys foraging for mushrooms, hunting, fishing, and reading a good book. She began writing for magazines several years ago when she realized that their debt-free, self-sufficient lifestyle could encourage others to do the same. Her articles focus on gardening, food preservation, DIY projects, chickens, and healthy, homemade recipes.
