The Zucchini Patch

Cindy Dayton grew up in the country where she learned to love the sweet smells of dairy barns and newly cut hay. She and her family own a small farm and have raised pigs, dairy and beef cows, chickens, mules, and draft horses. She is an avid gardener and food preserver. The Zucchini Patch, named in honor of the much-maligned vegetable that grows in abundance in her garden, is an opportunity for her to share experiences from the family farm.
