I live on 10 acres in Texas with my family. We slaughter and butcher our own pork, beef, chicken and turkey for our family’s meat consumption. We also have chickens for farm fresh eggs. We grow our own fruits and vegetables in our garden and have a small fruit and pecan orchard. We also take care of honeybees for their production of honey. I love to preserve food through canning, drying and freezing. I really love making wine out of the fruits I grow on my farm. I try to live a simple and frugal life.
