CHARLOTTESVILLE, Virginia — Bundle up and take the kids on a birding night hike November 5. Join expert birder Jerry Therrien for an evening of identifying owl sounds of every kind and learning all about these elusive birds. The hike begins at the trailhead of Monticello Trail in Kemper Park at 5:30. Wear hiking boots and bring water, binoculars, and a flashlight.
