2010: A Retrospective

I've been taking a break from blogging but I'm back and ready to start afresh.  And what better way to begin than to look back at a few of the highlights from our past year.

New Year's 2010 found us in the Ozark working on our ranch getting it ready for resale.  Mountain Man worked diligently on the house.

I tried to make the best of it but I was homesick for our mountain and in February, we returned to Vermont.  My spirits soared once again.

Spring brought lots of changes to our farm.  Mini horses arrived.

Congratulations on the birth of your granddaughter. This year my two daughters-in-law each gave my husband and I a new granddaughter, so we added two more grandchildren to our family giving us 9 grandchildren in all. We feel truly blessed and now know why God put us through parenthood before grandparenthood. This is our reward for all the hard work. May this new year bring many more blessings.

It's always such a treat to read about the adventures on the Red Pine Mountain Farm nestled in the mountains of Vermont. Thank you so much for allowing us to stroll down memory lane with you for the year 2010. I too have reflected back on the year and found that quite a lot was accomplished even though it seemed like things were moving at a snails pace. I hope to read many more blog posts about life in Vermont. Have a great day.
