CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA – Making lawns look better will become easier with the new Husqvarna LE475 wheeled edger, and Husqvarna’s new CT-20 cultivator offers an easy solution to keep gardens well maintained and weed-free.

The new, wheeled edger provides clean lines where grass meets the sidewalk, driveway and other areas. It features two 7-inch front and two 8-inch rear retreadable tires to provide superior precision and handling. The wheels are also adjustable to better maneuver curbs and other uneven terrain. Because it operates on four wheels, it has an ergonomic advantage over handheld edgers since the weight of the unit rests on the tires and not the arms of the user.

The cutter head adjusts to multiple positions inside of a 90-degree rotation – for edging, beveling flower beds and moderate trimming and brushcutting projects. The standard 9 inch steel blade’s 4-inch working depth delivers a precise cut along driveways and sidewalks.

With a 4.75 torque power Briggs & Stratton engine, it provides enough torque to edge through compact soils and grasses.

“For a homeowner or professional who takes great pride in their work, this is the edger for them,” says Gent Simmons, Husqvarna product manager. “They will appreciate the ease of handling and overall cutting performance.”

Weeding between garden rows and landscape features is typically a tedious, tiresome job. With Husqvarna’s new CT-20 cultivator, there’s now an easy solution to keep gardens well maintained and weed-free.

Because of its durable, lightweight design (only 25 pounds) this “mini-tiller” is easy to pick up and move to different outdoor projects. The handlebar of the CT-20 folds so it can be stored easily in the garage or shed.

“With the popularity of organic foods, many homeowners are choosing to grow their own vegetables in their gardens,” Simmons says. “Preparing and maintaining those gardens can be much simpler with an easy-to-handle cultivator like Husqvarna’s CT-20.”

Two forward-rotating tines adjust to three operating depths up to 8-inches deep. The commercial grade transmission rotates the tines at 162 rotations per minute for maximum torque. The CT-20 is powered by a 2-horsepower Tecumseh engine that provides plenty of power to cultivate the toughest soil conditions.

Both the Husqvarna CT-20 and the Husqvarna LE475 are now available at Husqvarna dealers nationwide.

Husqvarna offers additional tips and lawn care resources at its Web site. The site includes how-to videos and tips on landscaping and operating outdoor power equipment.
