Three classic novels by prolific western novelist Zane Grey are packaged in a set.

This set of three includes: Riders of the Purple Sage, Last of the Duanes, and The Lawless West.

  • Riders of the Purple Sage: This is the classic saga of the gunman known only as Lassiter and his search for his lost sister. Restored from Grey's original handwritten manuscript, including previously censored material.

  • Last of the Duanes Buck Duane's father was a gunfighter who died by the gun and, in accepting a drunken bully's challenge, Duane himself was forced into the life of an outlaw. He roamed the dark trails of southwestern Texas, living in outlaw camps, until he met the one woman who could help him overcome his past—a girl named Jennie Lee.
When this novel was first published in a shorter form in 1914 it was a rousing success that was made into a movie four times by 1941. But the complete manuscript was rejected because it contained too much gunplay. This is the full version of the novel.

  • The Lawless West: In the field of Western fiction, three authors stand unmatched: L'Amour, Grey and Brand. These three had a greater impact on the Western than any other writer. They created it, shaped it and popularize it. And now three of their best short novels are collected in this single volume. Zane Grey's wonderful From Missouri has been restored from the author's own manuscript. Max Brand's Over the Northern Border is a classic tale of stage coach robbery and relentless pursuit also corrected and restored from the author's original manuscript. Louis L'Amour's Riders of the Dawn debuted in Giant Western magazine in 1951 and appears here in the original version, as L'Amour himself first intended it.
