This traditional salad is simple and delicious. It can be easily modified with leftover chicken or turkey. Try using cranberries instead of raisins for a flavorful twist.
In medium bowl, combine apple, celery, raisins and walnuts. In small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sugar, salt and lemon juice. Add to fruit mixture and toss lightly to coat well. Cover and refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.
3 medium apples, unpeeled, diced
1/2 cup celery, sliced
1/4 cup raisins (optional, or cranberries)
