1 package taco seasoning
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 egg, beaten
1 cup crushed corn chips
1 pound ground beef
6 slices cheddar cheese or pepper jack cheese
6 sandwich rolls
Over medium-high heat, heat large nonstick skillet or fire up grill.
Combine taco seasoning, onion, egg and crushed corn chips. Add ground beef and mix well. Form into 6 patties. Grill or fry 5 or 6 minutes on each side.
Place cheese slices on burgers and continue to cook until cheese is melted. Serve on sandwich rolls. Yields 6 servings.
Great toppings for this burger include lettuce, tomato, onion and some salsa to give it a little flare.
