This Strawberry Pizza recipe is one of my most-requested recipes.
• 1 cup flour
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1-1/3 cups confectioner’s sugar, divided 8 ounces cream cheese
• 8 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
• 3 tablespoons strawberry gelatin (half of a 3-ounce box)
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup water
• 3 tablespoons cornstarch
Heat oven to 350°F. Combine flour, butter and 1/3 cup confectioner’s sugar. Pat into pizza pan and bake 10 to 15 minutes, or until light golden brown. Cool.
Soften cream cheese. With mixer, beat cream cheese, whipped topping and remaining confect ioner’s sugar until well-blended. Spread evenly over cooled crust.
In saucepan, combine gelatin, sugar, water and cornstarch; bring to boil, and boil until thick and clear. Cool.
Meanwhile, arrange sliced or small whole berries on top of cream cheese layer. When glaze has cooled but not thickened, spread evenly over entire pizza.
